Daniel
Calvo - (Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Congas, Band Leader)
Daniel Calvo was on the music faculty of one of the nation's leading preparatory
schools: St. Paul's School in Concord, N.H. from '84 - '98. Daniel has
received his degree from Berklee College of Music. Daniel has performed
extensively on cruise ships (Carnival Cruise Lines), worked in full time
pit orchestras for shows including 'Annie' and 'Barnum', led high school
clinics, recorded for local entertainers, and backed up national stars
including Joan Rivers, Tony award winner Linda Hopkins, and Kathryn Kiefer,
host of Night Tracks and VH-1.
Daniel performed recently at the Capitol Center for the Arts in a production
of '12 Moods of Jazz' a tribute to Langston Hughes produced by world renowned
Baritone Rawn Spearman. He also appeared Wednesday nights at the Charles
Playhouse bar with the "Lit Land Jazz Band". |
Craig
Weiman - (Bass)
Craig is from Davenport, Iowa. He studied cello
at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He has performed
on bass professionally from high school and attended Berklee
College in boston where he studied with Anthony Vitti and
Oscar Stagnaro. Craig performed for the past year in the
popular Boston-area band Plaid Daddy, as well as on a tour
of Spain with the R&B/Latin/Jazz band 'Bora'. He has
performed on many other gigs in the Boston area as a freelance
bassist.

Gordon
O'Connell - (Guitar)
What do Smooth Jazz Artist Andre Ward, Motown Review Taylor Made, renown
Blues/Roots guitarist Larry Baeder, Gospel/R&B Singer Leon Beal, Kenyan
Producer Felix Mwangi Vegas Headliner Johnny Ray, and Singer/Songwriter
Tracy Rose all have in common? They’ve all called upon the versatile
artistry of guitarist Gordon O’Connell over the years to enhance
their sound. Steve Ellman of Boston’s WBUR described Gordon as “One
of the most sensitive and innovative musicians in the Boston area."
He has
opened for such artists as Patti Austin, Jeffrey Osbourne, The SOS Band,
Regina Bell, The Whispers, Lenny Williams (Tower of Power), South Side
Johnny and the Ashbury Jukes, Ben E. King, Albert Lee, Expose, and the
Turtles. Gordon’s album credits include Joe Merrick’s “Supernaturally
Sober”, Lori Dow’s “Unconditionally Yours”, Mike
Garvey’s “Part of the Picture” and Tracy Rose’s “This
Is My Home”, which he co-wrote and produced.
Recent performance
venues include Boston’s Wang Center and Berklee
Performance Center, The Gibson Showplace in Nashville, Trump Tower and
the Seacoast Center in New York City, and the Montecarlo Resort and Casino
in Las Vegas.
Gordon O'Connell studied performance and composition at
the Berklee College of Music and classical guitar at the New England
Conservatory. While attending Berklee, he was the recipient of the Laurindo
Almieda Award for Excellence in Performance.
Gordon is currently recording
his first album as a solo artist. It will feature his original compositions
penned over the course of his long and successful career.

Dave Chronister -
(Drums)
Dave has studied with jazz greats Alan Dawson and Gary Chaffee. His performance
credits include appearances with Chaka Khan and Maceo Parker. In past years,
Dave has participated in extensive European tours with the high energy
act 'Mr. Thing and the Professional Human Beings'.
